Who fits here
Wîhkwêntôwin (pronounced We-Kwen-To-Win, Cree for "circle of friends") is Edmonton's densest inner-city neighbourhood, sitting immediately west of Downtown with direct river valley access. It attracts buyers who want walkable urban living without the downtown price premium — professionals working downtown or at the University of Alberta, empty-nesters trading a house for a lock-and-leave condo, and first-time buyers priced out of low-rise neighbourhoods. With roughly two-thirds of its 13,800+ dwellings being high-rise apartments and condominium-style units, this is overwhelmingly a condo market. Buyers seeking a detached home or large yard should look elsewhere; those seeking skyline views, short commutes, and neighbourhood character — 104 Street patios, the Victoria Promenade, St. Joseph's Basilica — will find few comparables at this proximity to Edmonton's core.
